I hope you will be able to tell me how long the training is to become a scenar practitioner and what prerequisites you ask for, if any. TC (8-4-2005) Thanks for your communication. On our Website, under Training, you will have seen ISTA's philosophy on training. Included is also a recommendation for trainings to last from 9 months to 18 months, depending on the trainees background and prior professional qualifications, as well as whether the trainee plans to use Scenar alone, or in conjunction with other skills, and in the setting of a health care professional. But these are recommendations; our site is so new that we have not even listed any Scenar Trainers, in part because at the moment there is a huge diversity in training standards and skills levels across the globe. My suggestion would be that you provide some information on yourself and we will try and give you a more specific answer to your question. If agreeable, and in total confidence, please provide the following information - (1) where are you located (2) what are your pre-existing skills and qualifications (3) which Scenar device are you planning to purchase (or have you already got) (4) do you intend to apply the Scenar device for personal use, or in the setting of a health-care professional Armed with this information, and possibly answers to some additional questions that your reply may raise, we should be able to direct you towards a suitable trainer and training scheme.
