Application for registered Supplier statusLike everything in our evolution, we are developing this section and procedure. With the help of you, one of the first invited to become an ISTA-registered Supplier, we shall quickly iron out any bugs; so, please, provide feedback on any issues this proposed approach to registration may raise for you. Our primary aim with this registration service is to provide reliable information for our members and to all those who visit this site for advice and guidance. None of the proposed financial requirements should act as deterrent to register - we are always open to structure an arrangement that suits you or your stage of business development. Let's talk. First Principles First ISTA does not in any way seek to interfere with your business model or planning, on the contrary, we would ask you immediately to advise us if you feel that we are at risk of doing so. Any legitimate complaints you may raise will be acted on and, if found justified and are acted on, will be brought to the attention of all other ISTA-registered Suppliers and / or applicants. The sole purpose for inviting you to become registered is to give our members, and those considering to join ISTA, the comfort that the party they buy a Scenar-Technology device from supplies bona fide devices; offers minimal and extended support during and beyond a warranty period; provides training and generally helps them get the desired results and value from their purchase. If you read through our Code of Business Conduct you will see that we request no more than what any good supplier, which includes you, already offers. Our requirements will only represent problems to those who have to date neglected their customer care. Our vision is to see a variety of Scenar-Technology devices being offered in every country of the world, based on fair commercial competition and impeccable customer service. We aim scrupulously at no time to promote one supplier or Scenar-Technology device (once accepted as such) over another. Cost of Registration ISTA is non-profit and will not seek to compete with legitimate commercial activities, defined as the sale of Scenar-Technology devices. It does however need to generate income with which to fund itself and its member-imposed tasks, e.g. representation in Brussels and with other regulatory bodies and in international fora, e.g. WHO, or the development of international insurance packages, etc. For this reason ISTA requires financial support from its members, all registrants and certain activities, including training, arranging events and seminars (alone and in partnership with third parties, including suppliers). Members currently pay a once-off registration fee, and an annual membership fee. Suppliers are required to pay this too, but have the option to select additional services against additional payments. It is in this area in particular that we are interested in hearing your suggestions and requirements. Members currently pay a once-off registration fee of US$ / € 30 or £25; annual membership fees are kept the equivalent of the average cost in each country of two full consultation. It is proposed that for Suppliers the once-off registration fee be US$ / € 100 or £ 65; and that the annual registration fee be the equivalent of the average sales price of one Scenar-Technology device, which is currently calculated at US$ / € 1,500 and £1,000. The latter can be paid in quarterly instalments, with a 5% surcharge to cover additional administrative costs. Counter-proposals are invited. Our PayPal facility makes this easy. One supplier has offered a fixed payment for every device either sold off their listing on the ISTA Website or made to an bona fide ISTA member. This supplier is anxious for ISTA to be able to carry out its functions with international regulatory authorities. All ISTA-registered Suppliers have the option to seek a live listing to their own websites, in addition to the editorially controlled page each will be given on the ISTA Website. ISTA sees this as providing an ISTA-registered supplier with a high profile connection on a site that will quickly become a central reference point for all those interested in, or involved with, Scenar-Technology and Scenar-Therapy. The nature of charging for this additional service is open to discussion.
